Sunday morning John and I got early and drove to Estes Park for shopping and lunch. The busy tourist town was unusually dead for the winter so we had the whole town to ourselves. I found a great ornament for my one of my friends and I even brought back Grandma's Cookies for my roommates. (Grandma's Cookies were originally introduced to us by Tom and Cindi Coker and these cookies make for great presents or thank you gifts and they hold up very well in shipping. Not only are the de-lic-ious but they use an ice cream scoop full of dough to make one cookie. They are huge!) http://www.grandmasmountaincookies.com/
Sunday night I invited my friends Kate, Amy, Laura, and Melissa to dinner at Red Lobster. I still had a gift certificate from my birthday (thanks Grandad) so I decided to share it with great friends over great seafood. We had a great time hanging out and catching up with each other. I had the lobster & shrimp pasta and it was great!
I flew into Kansas City late last night and I am ready for the holidays. Today we are meeting The Brown families for ice skating and dinner and then on Christmas day we will get together with Grandad and celebrate the holidays with him.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
