This past Sunday was the first forest fire in Boulder County. It was at the base of the mountains right in Boulder. This is the first time I have seen a forest fire up close or this close to Boulder. It was pretty incredible and pretty scary for the people who live near by. Thankfully the fire fighters responded quickly and the fire was contained about an hour later.
