The Next Generation

My cousins Alec and Tyler are really making a name for themselves in wrestling.  They are the first generation of Brown athletes to wrestle and they are incredible!  Alec is a senior and Tyler is a freshman at Oak Grove High School and they just finished their 2010-2011 wrestling season.  They finished Top Dog this season, winning the 2011 Missouri Class 2 Team Championship!  That was Oak Grove's 13th State title in wrestling and I know they have many more to come.

This is Alec's senior year and he did not disappoint.  He wrestled at 189 pounds and was awarded 1st Team MRVC All-Conference.  Impressive!!!  He finished this season with a record of 29-19 and a high school career of 81-52.  Way to go Alec!!

Tyler, aka Bones, is a freshman this year and wrestled at 135 pounds.  Unfortunately Tyler only got limited mat time this year because he battled back from rehab of his broken back.  He had a great season last year and I bet his sophomore year will be even better.

I am told..when they get you in that, it's all but over!
