My mom loves snowman. She buys everything that has a snowman on it and I definitely inherited that from her. That means, it was love at first site when I went to the Maple Leaf Festival two years ago. I found the cutest snowwoman dressed in Baker clothes. At the time I only bought the girl and kept her sitting in my living room all throughout winter. She was so cute that I vowed to get her brother the next year.Luckily, I found the same lady but she had sold out of all the boys. Thankfully she agreed to make me another one and Mack bought me the little boy for Christmas. Since I didn't want to ruin him on the airplane ride home mom agreed to mail him to Colorado for me.
I was so surprised when I received a big box at work today. Mom didn't tell me that she was mailing him so it was like getting a new present all over again. I showed a bunch of people at work and then came home and put both of them on display. My favorite part about the little snowman is his cuffed pants.
If you ever get a chance to go to the Maple Leaf Festival (third weekend in October) you can find the lady's craft station in the Elementary school PE gym, in the back left corner.
Up for this weekend....Kristie's birthday party and hosting a super bowl party. Pictures to come.
