This week has flown by ever since I landed in Colorado. I flew home this past weekend to watch the Wildcats take on Mid-America. Unfortunately the Cats lost by 1 point in double overtime but they played great together and I can't wait to listen to the game tomorrow as they get a victory over Avila University. My Aunt Betty also came to the game and it was great to see her. I had not seen her since Christmas and it was great to be able to spend some time with her and my Grandad and Grandma.

On Sunday mom and I stopped by to see my friend Cara and celebrate her birthday. We chatted about work, school, and Africa (Cara leaves in two months) and opened presents. After that mom and I headed downtown to see The Lion King. What a great play! I am so glad mom got tickets. The costumes were amazing, the stage looked great, and people even came singing down our aisle with birds on a stick. It was a great show to say the least. The picture above and below are from the show. Afterward, we picked up dad for dinner and headed to the airport for my flight back to Colorado.

I had Wednesday and Thursday off from work so I decided to paint my room. The pictures are below. I have one more coat of Dusty Rose (aka pink) to paint and then I am done. Thank goodness. This project has taken longer than I planned and I am ready to have a normal size room back. More pictures to come after the project is complete.

This morning we had a light dusting of snow outside. It was completely melted off the car by the time I got to work but I have a picture to prove that it was there, even if only for a short time.

John and I going to see the new Bond movie tonight. (Unless tickets are sold out) If you are near Avila tomorrow stop by and watch the Cats crush 'em! If not you can listen online too.
