This past week was filled with a ton of activities. On Friday we went to an Art Show in north Denver. My friend Erin, Eric, and Eric's son Max (7 years old & the only kid in the show) were in a professional photo art show that was really cool. The "assignment" was to present your idea of Hope. Erin chose to focus on fruit and vegetables that grow from the land, Eric chose to focus on Bees and how their survival is important to Earth, and Max chose nature as his view of hope. (Sorry about the flash on the bottom bee picture.)

On Saturday I took my friend Melissa and her 6 month son Ian (aka. Baby Awesome) to the airport. I wish I had a picture of how cute Ian looked in his flying outfit but here's one from awhile ago so you can see him for yourself. After I dropped them off John and I headed into Boulder for my co-worker Courtney's son 2 year old birthday party. All of our co-workers were there and it was a pretty great time. Unfortunately John and I could only stay for a short while because we had Bingo plans that night. We haven't been to Bingo in almost a month and I could tell that John was really itching to get back. We didn't win any money of course but we had a good time still.
This weekend is shaping up to be no different than the last. Incredibly busy! My fall semester starts at Emporia and it's back to hitting the books. I know that everyone is waiting for pictures of the new house and we are almost there. I promise. We have about 10 more boxes to unpack, the cable guy comes on Saturday, and all that's left is hanging pictures. Unfortunately right now our house looks like the inside of Ronald McDonald's house. It's red and yellow all over and eventually we are going to paint the walls but I don't see that happening any time soon. Maybe over winter!
