The Bet, 4-Wheeling, & Big Winners

The Sex and the City (the movie) tried hard but couldn't beat Indiana Jones opening weekend. Sex and the City made $55 million, just $71 dollars shy of the grand prize. I will now be buying John club level seats for the Rockies game. Good thing my bank is doing a promotional offer of Buy 1, Get 1. The picture on the left is some of my friends that went to the movie with me. You can't tell from this picture but the mountains are in the background and look gorgeous.

John was finally able to take his new truck out on the trails for some 4-wheeling this past weekend. We were able to get up to 10,000 feet before the snow blocked our path. The truck did good for it's first time out but John says we didn't do hard enough stuff to see how the engine will handle the road. Here is a picture of Apex trail in Nederland. You can see how much snow is blocking the road on the left and how small our path was. You can also notice the edge on the right.

After 4-wheeling John and I always go up to Black Hawk which is one of the big gambling cities in Colorado. We usually go up there to eat the buffet. We were a little early for dinner so John started playing the penny slots. Next thing we knew he had won $150 dollars.....ON PENNY SLOTS! He is the luckest person I know when it comes to gambling.
